Cyber Security for Small Business Dr. Michael Ramage is the director of the Cyber Education and Research Center at Murray State University and serves as the president for the Technology Council of West Kentucky.
This class provides an introduction to securing information in a small business, an overview of the dangers of cyber security and how to protect data, prevent hacking and preserve the business' reputation. Topics include: Defining cyber security; Explaining the importance of securing information through best cyber security practices; Identifying types of information that should be secured; Identifying the types of cyber threats; Defining risk management; and Listing best practices for guarding against cyber threats.
